Johanna Pinder-Wilson trained and qualified as an Archaeological Conservator and Restorer and worked for prestigious organisations in the UK and abroad (- including English Heritage, the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford and the British School of Archaeology at Ankara, Turkey), where she developed a love of the ancient and the antique.
Always having a keen sense of commerce and interest in the technical world, Johanna trained and qualified as a solicitor in the early 1990s and went on to take up roles as both a contract manager in the highly complex rail industry and as a solicitor in a city law firm.
In the late 1990s Johanna started her decorative antiques business and exhibited on the Fairs circuit, including the well known Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair, Battersea where her stock was ‘high decorative-eclectic’. In the Noughties and beyond, her interest has been in 20th century antiques and she has exhibited at Antiques & Audacity at DECOREX and until recently had a shop unit in Alfies Antiques Market, the renowned London centre for dealers in 20th century antiques.
Johanna hand picks an exciting and eclectic range of items; she takes inspiration from good design spanning the style descriptors of: Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Modernist, Mid-Century Modern and Postmodern.
