FA2 desk light composed of hand spun polished aluminium and chrome plated tubular steel base, stem, shade and bulb holder and encased switch holder, the height and angle of the shade and bulb holder being adjustable along the length of the stem (Peter Nelson, British, late 1960s).

Peter Nelson was the founder and designer at Architectural Lighting having learnt his trade in the aerospace industry before starting to make lighting in 1961. This lamp was designed by Peter Nelson in 1967 for the Architectural Lighting Company and is a design classic.
