"Carlyle/Miami Beach; lithograph and screenprint in colours, signed, titled, dated 1985 and numbered 6/100 in pencil.
A stunning image which is a combination of architectural drawing - elevations, section views of The Astor, Miami Beach (an Art Deco building) executed with a Postmodern flourish. The study of the anatomy of the building, makes the viewer look at the different parts of it and analyse it, the whole producing an image that is both artwork and architectural in one.
